Services
Prenatal Care
Prenatal visits will be 30 minuts to an hour long. On top of getting to know you and your partner (or support person) better, they can consist of but are not limited to:
- Discussing your ideal birth experience
- Discussing and working through any fears or anxiety (you and your partners)
- Discussing and practicing comfort techniques
- Running through the stages and phases of labor
- Creating a birth and/or postpartum plan
Labor and Delivery
I will be there for you throughout your labor and delivery. I will provide emotional support, physical comfort measures, and guidance to help you have a safe and satisfying birth experience. I will also support your partner or other loved ones who are with you. Labor and Birth support details include but are not limited to:
- Massage/counter pressure
- Asssisting with a TENS machine
- Birthing ball positions
- Suggesting and assisting with position changes
- Creating a calm environment (lights, curtains, etc.)
- Water therapy (bath,shower)
- Hydrating and feeding birther
- Hand-on infant feeding support
- Anything else you feel will help you have the positive birth experience you desire
Postpartum Care
I will continue to provide care for you and your baby after delivery. I will help you with breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery. I will also screen for postpartum depression and provide referrals for additional support if needed. Other services included but are not limited to:
- Baby laundry only
- Light kitchen cleaning (washdishes, wipe counters)
- Sterilize baby bottles and breast pump equipment
- Light meal prep upon request
